What I have done with my life so far:
I thought I would let everyone know, if they were interested, that Helen L. (Huey) Caton passed away in October of 2001. She married Howard W. Caton and had 4 children who were all born in Connellsville. Oldest and 1st born Ronald Caton (Cleveland), 2nd born (daughter) Pamela (Caton) Slaminka lives in Florida, 3rd born (son) Richard Caton passed away January 2001 in Medina, Ohio (outside of Cleveland), last daughter Kimberly Caton-Thomas lives in Grafton (outside of Cleveland). Helen had grand childred and great children.
Helen\\\'s husband Howard (from Uniontown/Hopwood) passed away in 1975. In 1982 Helen retired and moved to Florida near daughter Pam and her husband and son Michael. She lived there until she passed away. She is terribly missed by her family.
Hobbies, Interests, or Activities:
She loved to play Shuffelboard, fish and spend time at her daughter Pams house.

KENNETH R. JONES GRADUATED FROM THE CLASS OF 1938. HIS FAMILY MOVED TO SALEM, N.J. SHORTLY AFTER HE GRADUATED. KEN WAS A SCHOOL TEACHER IN NJ, MARRIED AND HAD 8 KIDS. HE PASSED AWAY IN 1992.
Hobbies, Interests, or Activities:
MY FATHER WENT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA, AFTER GRADUATING FROM CONNELLSVILLE SCHOOL. HE WAS DRAFTED INTO THE ARMY AS A MEDIC IN 1942. AFTER THE WAR, HE COMPLETED HIS BACHELORS DEGREE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA. HE THEN ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA/DAVIS. THERE HE GOT A MASTERS DEGREE. I THINK THAT HIS MAIN HOBBY IN LIFE WAS MAKING BABY'S AND DRINKING WARM BEER. HE WAS PRETTY SUCESSFUL AT WHAT HE DID IN LIFE, SUCH AS WRITING POETRY, PAINTING PICTURES, GROWING A GARDEN, ECT., BUT AS A FATHER I WOULD GIVE HIM A GRADE OF "D".

MY NAME IS ANDREW JONES. I JUST THOUGHT THAT SOMEONE WHO MAY BE INTERESTED IN THE CLASS OF 1938, MIGHT WANT THIS INFORMATION. I HAVE A NEWSPAPER CLIPPING OF 20TH CLASS RE-UNION THAT WAS HELD IN 1958. IT HAS A PHOTO OF THE CLASS. THANKS ANDREW.

Spend time between my home in FL, MD and the homestead in Connellsville.
