Hi,
Just was browsing the internet and came upon this sight. My mother was Betty Reece class of 1942, she passed away in 1988 from Breast Cancer at the age of 63. I still remember visiting in Connellsville back in the 1960's and I have good memories of playing baseball at the field next to the dairy queen on E Crawford Ave. Betty has 5 Grandchildren one boy and four. I have one daughter who will be a senior in high school and hopes to attend Duke University. Betty's daughter Betsy has three daughters and one boy. One of her daughters is a graduate of Drexel University and is an engineer. Betsy's other two daughters are graduates of Messsiah college one being a schoolteacher and the other a web designer. Betsy has two grandchildre. My uncle John Reece Betty's brother is retired and lives in Alabama.

Hobbies are oil art, having worked as an artist since l964. Now have art gallery in my home, show at many areas. Other interests antique auto shows with husband. Family and church activities.

After playing cornet in the high school band, also played professionally in an all-girl band after graduation. Married Army career officer Francis (Fuzzy) DeBolt, now deceased. Worked as photo/journalist/reporter for a Pa. newspaper, was copywriter and announcer for WCVI, played tournament tennis in Japan where we lived for two years, five years in Germany, several stateside posts. Six children, seven grandchildren.

Rv-ing, biking, watercolor painting, reading, best friend of my Cocker, Maggie.

I went to a grade school somewhere in Connellsville Pa, where I met a lot of kids , also I remember a janitor by the name of "Oggie" who taught us kids how to spell , my word was Nebuchadnezzar. Does anyone remember such school or janitor? I lived at the Pleasant Valley Country Club at the time, Parents Nick & Ruth Cassa, along with my Brothers Nick & Bill Cassa and one sister Clara Cassa.
