Overlooking the Cucumber Ravine towards the thirty-nine foot tall Cucumber Run Waterfall during a boisterous rainy first part of June. Arguably Ohiopyle's most beautiful waterfall, the geological feature steals attention away from the ravine it falls into, for the ravine itself is a wonder of geology with overhanging cliffs on three sides and interesting rock formations throughout. Both Mountain Laurel and Rhododendron can be seen hanging from the ravine's rim. |
