The greenery of spring is enhanced by a heavily moss covered fallen tree along the McCune Trail along the roof of Ohiopyle State Park, Laurel Ridge. Near this scene are the remnants of an old farm, a springhouse and man made pond, and a line of planted white pines, dating from the 1860s. McCune Trail ends at a now tree blocked scenic overlook of the Youghiogheny River Gorge. |
