Pictured is a vista along the Laurel Highlands Trail featuring the Youghiogheny River rounding the Flats in Ohiopyle State Park. The summit of Sugar Loaf Knob can be seen in the distant center. Also seen is a ray of sunshine penetrating the Long Run Gorge, broadcasting light upon the tip of the Flats. This is one of many of the scenic overlooks along the Laurel Highlands Trail, which follows the spine of Laurel Ridge from Ohiopyle to Johnstown at 71 miles in length.
