Linn Run State Park, featuring several picnic areas along Linn Run, is apart of a complex of several state parks engulfed within Forbes State Forest in eastern most Westmoreland County. The area has an abundance of forest, numerous trails, scenic overlooks, rock outcroppings, a bog, and several waterfalls with land varying in elevation from 1200 to 2800 feet.
